Basic 3D Production


 
 
Summary:
This course will provide attendees with a broad knowledge base in 3D shooting theory and technique.
Synopsis:
The training is hands-on wherever possible and allows maximum interaction between the attendees and the trainer. The course ensures attendees understand how 3D works and how it has developed over history, they are able to plan and implement a 3D shoot, to operate both mirror and side-by-side 3D rigs and crucially know which to use by scenario.
They will also understand the principles of stereography and most importantly how to avoid the huge amount of problems associated with 3D content creation.


Trainer's Profile


Tim Stringer
Tim has been involved in the creative industry for 20 years. He started out as an artist and photographers assistant and then freelanced as a graphic designer, whilst continuing to shoot. Studied “Photography, Digital Imaging and film production” and obtained a first class degree whilst winning best grad film. He has since worked with the National Film and Television School in London. He joined Procam television in 2008, then moved to sister company Pro3D in 2010. He has spent the last couple of years researching and testing stereoscopic techniques and joining Pro3D has given him the platform to produce and shoot high quality and engaging HD 3D footage.
