This practical-based training course will be taught by Mr Chua Swan, who has over 20 years of experience in the media industry and has trained numerous successful artistes during his career. Participants will get to learn in-depth knowledge about TV production from Mr Chua. Course outline includes language proficiency, effective use of emotions, observation techniques, body language, etc. Participants will have a chance to go on-camera, and performance will be assessed and discussed during class. This training course will be a good learning platform for young adults who aspire to work in the TV industry. This course is instructed in Mandarin. 

这个课程将会由蔡萱老师授课。蔡萱老师在媒体界的生涯跨越二十余年， 有着丰富的制作和培训的经验。他曾任新加坡广播局演员训练班导师, 培训了许多在籍的著名演员。蔡萱老师将与参加者分享他对电视制作的知识和经验。课程内容也包括台词的表现、镜头里的表演方式、掌握观察能力以及表情的运用技巧等等。通过小品练习和录影，蔡萱老师会评估和讨论学生们对演技的掌握和技巧。这个课程将会是协助少年们踏入电视行业的一个重要的平台。

Chua Swan graduated in TV Production from Chiyoda College, Tokyo in1972 and joined the Radio Television Singapore soon after. In the 1980s, he was a trainer in Singapore Broadcasting Corporation’s Artiste Training program and has produced the award-winning drama serial, “The Witty Adviser” in 1994. This serial won the “Best Drama Award” the same year.   Mr Chua joined Cyber Business Network in 1999 and joined Matrix Vision Pte Ltd later in 2002 as Controller and continued producing TV content. In September 2005, he was one of the chief trainers in Matrix Vision’s acting classes.   In his 27-year career, he held various appointments ranging from director to executive producer to senior production manager. He produced more than 200 drama serials in his career including “Kopi O”, “Stranger Encounters”, “Teochew Family”, “Pretty Faces” etc. He also produced English serials namely “Light Years” and “Colours”.
